We process information about customers who attend or want to attend our facilities.
The types of information we process includes sensitive personal data and includes -
- identity details including -
- name
- gender
- date of birth
- age
- home address
- mobile contact number
- emergency contact name and number
- your characteristics such as -
- height
- your photo (parental consent required for under 18-year-olds)
We use your personal information to -
- maintain a record of customers who have consented to take part in motorsports activities at Hull Adventure
- only allow customers that and have completed online consent to attend and take part in hazardous Motorsports at Hull Adventure
- take customer bookings for Hull Adventure
- allocate customers to race events at Hull Adventure
- ensure customers are booked into correct activities for their age
- enable customer name and photo (optional) to be displayed for -
- operating the timing and track management system at Hull Adventure to enable race events
- show it on leader boards display screens at Hull Adventure
- update results to our website or social media
- receive your race results by email – if opted into
- receive updates and offers from Hull Adventure – if opted into
We receive information from -
- you
- your parent or guardian
Our legal basis for the processing of your personal information is -
- GDPR Article 6 1 (b) – it is necessary to deliver the contracted service to you
- GDPR Article 6 1 (c) – it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, notably Health and Safety and HMRC’s requirements for financial records
- GDPR Article 6 1 (e) – to deliver our tasks as a public authority.
Where you choose to receive marketing information from us this is only on the basis of your full consent in accordance with GDPR Article 6 1 (a).
Please note that you can withdraw your consent for marketing activity at any time using the contact details above and we will action your request at the earliest opportunity. This will not affect your ability to use our services.
We will keep your personal information safe and confidential, but we may be required to share it where -

- it is necessary to prevent, detect, investigate or punish a crime.
We retain customer records for 5 years from when you last attended, Unless the customer is under 18 years old then we keep records until 5 years past their 18 Birthday. Records of payments must be retained for 7 years.
